MINUTES OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF MEN FELLOWSHIP : 2011 / 2012

  1. The meeting started with a word of prayer by Mr James Ponniah

  2. Vicars Address

    3. The vicar commended the fellowship for its active role in social programs and suggested to invite non Christian to participate. The fellowship was commented for good devotions with spiritual input and the preparation that when into preparing the devotions. Vicar suggested noted that some members don't attend church and participate and suggested that fellowship acts as support group for the men in the church. Vicar commended for the growth seen in the work with welfare and missions and requested that more work is done in these areas.


  3. Confirmation of Minutes of the AGM held on 7/3/2010

    4. The minutes were accepted and confirmed by the members:

  4. MF Annual Report 2010

Mr James Henry tabled the MF annual Report 2010. The report was well accepted by the members

The President commended all committee members for their contributions and effort for the last year

  1. Treasurer Report 2010

Mr Peter Rajamanikam tabled the MF annual Treasurer report. He mentioned that there is a balance of  RM5,138.42 .

It was noted that the accounts were audited by Mr K. Simson our internal auditor of the church

The report was accepted by all members

  1. Election of Office Bearers for the year 2011/2012

Note : Mr Ganesh Kumar SMSed and consented that he did not mind continuing in the position of Vice President.


The following was elected as office bearers for MF 2011


President: Mr Chandra Bogar
Vice President: Mr Ganesh Kumar
Secretary: Mr James Henry
Treasurer: Mr Peter Rajamanikam

  1. Budget for the Year 2011
  1. Mr Peter Rajamanikam presented the budget for year 2011/2012
  2. The budget was deliberated and revised resulting a deficit of RM100.00
  3. Mr James Sivanathan presented the quarterly collection of the van fund.  He was disappointed on the responds of the members in contributing towards the van fund.
  4. The budget was proposed by Mr Jayasunthar and seconded by Mr James Sivanathan.
  1. AOB
    1. The Incoming president thanked everyone and congratulated to all that was elected and hoped the working together will continue for the Lord.
    2. Mr James Ponniah thanked all members for their support.
    3. Asli Mission - Ulu Kampar is planned for August and Mr James Henry will form a committee soon.
    4. All members agreed that the MF meeting will be on the second week Friday of the month.
    5. Mr Daniel suggestion of selling 2 nd hand books is to be discussed during next meeting.
    6. Vicar suggested that the Men attend the introduction of BSF which will be hosted by Mr James Henry. BSF will be having a introduction at Klang Club on 15/3/2011.
    7. Vicar reminded that MF should work on the by-laws.

It has been decided that the next meeting would be held on the 15/04/2011.


The meeting ended with a word of prayer and all members adjourned to a lunch treat at Restaurant Kanna Curry House sponsored by Dr.Benjamin Das.
